About the Hopeaholics Podcast

Igniting hope, transforming lives. The Hopeaholics interviews those who have survived the despair and destruction caused by addiction and mental health disorders. Led by Chad Carlsen, who was inspired to fight the opioid epidemic after his soon-to-be son-in-law died of fentanyl poisoning, this podcast is committed to helping listeners feel less alone, more understood and a sense of hope. Followed by Shane Earn and Natalie Eva Marie as co-hosts.

What is the Hopeaholics Podcast?

The Hopeaholics is all about connecting through real stories of battling addiction and mental health challenges. Inspired by their own personal stories, the hosts leads the charge, with a mission of making listeners feel understood, less alone, and hopeful. This podcast strips away stigma and offers insight into overcoming life’s hurdles, proving that change is possible and you’re not in this fight alone. Our mission: share unfiltered stories that inspire, heal, and bring us all a bit closer. feel less alone, more understood and a sense of hope. Followed by Shane Earn and Natalie Eva Marie as co-hosts.

Mature audiences only

The Hopeaholics Podcast maintains a Mature (M) rating, and was intentionally created for adult ages. Although we wish to educate and help anyone currently struggling with addiction or mental health issues, we frequently feature topics that include drugs, paraphernalia, violence, several adult philosophical and ethical issues, and includes vocabulary and the occasional use of vulgar language. There are no child characters in the show. We encourage any minors or adults with minors who wish to participate in our podcast to due so under the advisement or support/advisement of an authorized and age-appropriate expert. We advocate that parents always listen and be in the presence of their children when listening to episodes of any podcast.
